Mid-Shore Family YMCA Funny Bunny 5K

Mid-Shore Family YMCA, Salisbury, Maryland

This year's winner was Mike Tigani, a rather avid runner who improved heavily on his time from last year by almost a minute! Tigani's winning time was 18:19. Second was Leslie Wright, a very strong and avid runner as well. Wright is a hall-of-fame track & field athlete from his time at Salisbury University. The young Zachary Bettes finished third, not too far behind the leaders.

The women's leaders were not too far from each other at all. First was Kathleen Petrera, no stranger to being a top finisher. Theresa Moody was the second woman, finishing a good ways under twenty-two minutes. Thirteen-year-old Savanah Bozman ran very well for someone her age, almost breaking twenty-two minutes and taking third for the women with frequent runner, Susan Dunn right behind her, finishing fourth for the women.

Almost forty runners showed up for this fun and festive YMCA spring event!
